Hi,

After a recent update to Sage 50 Premium Accounting 2024 US Edition, backing up just sits on processing the backup. Waiting for half an hour to proceed to backup, we decided to interrupt and close the program in the task manager after then it proceeds to backup the company. Is there a need to reinstall the Sage 50 or any updates for the Premium Accounting 2024?

    Here is a shortcut to get the backup to start right away. After you tell the system to backup, and then the system starts "preparing the system for backing up," right click on your Windows Taskbar and open the Task Manager. Click on the arrow to the left of the Sage 50 process and then right click once on the white square process under that and End Task. This will cause your backup to start immediately.
