    Hi  ,

Thanks for reaching out. The Cloud Connectivity feature for Sage 50 Accounting works by integrating with Microsoft 365 to provide cloud backup capabilities. With your current Sage 50c subscription, and if you're on a supported version of Sage 50, you can set up, schedule, and manage cloud backups directly to OneDrive. This is not a fully cloud-based version of Sage 50, but it does offer cloud-connected features such as remote data access and cloud backup, while the actual dataset resides on your computer.

To use this feature, ensure you have the Microsoft 365 Connector and configure your Sage 50 to run as an administrator. Remember that cloud backups require the Sage 50 program to be closed during the scheduled backup time, and the computer should not be in sleep mode. For a full guide on setting up and managing your cloud backups, including the prerequisites and detailed steps for on-demand backups and scheduled backups, you can refer to the comprehensive guide on our Knowledgebase here: Sage 50 Cloud Backup.

Please note that while Sage does support customers using cloud-based environments, Sage Support will not be able to troubleshoot connectivity or performance issues related to third-party cloud setups.

For more information about remote data access and sharing your company remotely, please see the guide here: Successfully using Remote Data Access.

If this helps, please mark it as verified :)

    Warm Regards,
