We are using a Remote Session Host setup. That means we have a number of computers at a location connecting via RDP to one Server that has many user accounts.
I have given full permissions to the C:\Program Files(x86)\Sage directory on all users. This make the sagemgr.exe not have to be accepted before it can run.
Under normal user accounts when you go to Services>Web Sync Wizard you cannot proceed with the sync. Here are the issues.
1. When you type in your username and password the next button does not become active.
2. You have to press enter to proceed.
3. Upon proceeding an alert box comes up that says, "Cannot Access USERPREF.dat", but I can confirm that file exists, has the right permissions and is dynamically created by the program.
4. Upon pressing cancel, a script error box pops up.
Under the Domain Administrator account, none of these issues arise. But how to find out what permissions are incorrect is quite challenging, we have tried using procmon.exe to see what files are being accessed by the program, but we cant find out whats happening. There is too much there in procmon.exe.
