My very FIRST thought is to look for updates.  Almost everyday Microsoft is updating their software.  That does have an effect on other software hosted on their operating system.   Once Microsoft updates their system, other software needs updated also.

I once had an update that installed a firewall between my server and workstations.  It took me 6 hour to figure out what happened.   I then tried turning off the updates and created more issues.  Now we come in each day and if we have updates we just install them and deal with the wrath of Microsoft.  If they don't work, we do a system restore.

Thank you for the response Shirley, however in the discovery process we have gone past this point. I currently have a Sage Senior Tech working on this and hopefully will have an answer today. He was able to get Outlook to open an email and attach a pdf file by changing the default Sage 50 Amyuni email writer to PRIMO PDF's email writer, however the pdf it attaches is empty (0k) and will not open by a pdf reader.
