Date Differences

SOLVED

I am having trouble with tracking "on-time" shipping. I need to know how many days later an Invoice is from its originating Sales Order. When I run a report of Invoices I have no way to know when the Sales Order was created. Am I missing something or is there a way to calculate this date difference in a report?

Thanks!

Hi Justin ... there's not a standard report that will show both the Sales Order "Ship by" date and the Sales Invoice "Date" or the "Ship Date" on the invoice.  This report can be created using Sage Intelligence -- you could design the report to show you both dates as well as calculate the performance metrics to show % of shipments on time, % of dollars shipped on time, etc.  The only catch may be handling partial shipments if you do a lot of them because you only have a single "Ship by" date on the Sales Order and not individual dates per line item.  If you'd like to discuss this option further feel free to give me a call at 800-339-8224 or email me at [email protected] to discuss in more detail.
