How do I run a report for a specific range of SKUs showing a year's worth of usage?

The company I am consulting for currently does not have a stocking plan. They have not done an ABC inventory evaluation which is the first step I want to take them to get this project started. They do know how to pull up a report showing the CoG for each SKU, but do not know how to pull up a report that shows a years worth of data covering a range of SKU's. My question is can this be done? Also does Sage 50 have an ABC analysis report or set up option? Can I narrow it down to supplier?

I use a revised version of the Item Costing Report in Inventory Reports. I removed any column related to price, sales or cost, and just left the movement columns. You can then run the report on all inventory items, a single item or a selected few items and it shows purchases, sales, adjustments and assemblies for which ever period you select.

For a more specific query John, you might look into Sage Intelligence. Quite the powerful tool for reporting and the front end is powered by MS Excel.
