How do I make sure I have the most up to date payroll tax files?

We are new to Sage 50 and will be running our first payroll Jan 3, 2022, how do make sure I have the most up to date tax files? When I click on payroll setup the download tax updates is grayed out.

  • You have to be on an active Sage Business Care subscription in order to have access to the Payroll Tax Tables. You can confirm if you are on an active subscription by going into Help and About Sage 50. Look towards the bottom of the screen at your Plan Level. If you see a date there, then you are active. As for the Payroll Tax Tables, the update for January 2022 became available on 12/17/2021 approximately.     Thanks for your help, it looks like something is wrong so I will have to figure this out
