I have searched this forum for what I think would be a common payroll formula. I can't find it. Is there a list of commonly used payroll formulas anywhere?
Basically I need to deduct $111.00 from the net pay of an employee. I've tried to write my own formula:
ANSWER = GROSS+FED_INCOME+SOC_SEC+MEDICARE+St_income-111.00;
I get an error message "Equal sign (=) expected"
I'm at a loss. There is an equal sign in the formula.
