Sales Tax Automatically calculating on freight

Question

When entering a Sales Order for a customer that is taxable, the system is automatically calculating tax on freight. Is there a way to change that setting so that freight is non-taxable?

You can change this setting within the Sales Tax settings. Click on Lists and Customers & Sales and Sales Taxes . Double click on the Sales Tax that you want to change and there you can change the Do you charge sales taxes on freight setting from Yes to No.
