I did the 2020 upgrade and most of my custom reports time out.

SUGGESTED

Called tech support and they said custom reports are not in their scope and they cannot help me.  I cannot run my reports I've developed over the last couple years.  Need Help Please.  I even tried starting over and Sales Analysis works but when I strip it down to the fields I need the same timeout happens:

    from help file suggests changing the SQLConnectTimeout. File in C:\Program Files (x86)\Sage\IntelligenceRpt2.0, alchemex.ini. my install of 2020 has this value set to 90, for 1.5 minutes. you may try a very large number, i.e. 600 and see if there is a change. It could be related to the location of the data, network connectivity.

    Did not work - something is not right.  Even if I try to run simple lookups (which are used in union report) the simple lookups don't work.  Some do, but not all.  I thought I found the issue when I noticed the ones not working were using Sales Analysis 1-4 and the some of the ones that did work were using Sales Analysis 1-5.  I even took a report that worked within a minute, copied it and renamed it, ran it and it worked.  Then changed only a couple of the columns being pulled and it did not work.

    Sorry you are experiencing this issue. Let's see if it is environmental.

    Can you export one of the reports and send to me? Let's see if the same happens on my system

    That would be much appreciated.  How do I get you the report?  I exported a very simple report that stopped working.

    Also in the last 5 minutes my purchasing manager called and said he cannot go to an inventory item and click reports and do a purchase order report - just a white screen.  This sounds worse but maybe I will get more help as Tech support just keeps telling me it is my custom reports so it is out of their scope.
