Hi Jim,

Your current application that IS NOT connecting, is probably targeting the DLL for the the 2017 version of Sage 50. You need to contact your developer to update these references and recompile the product for your newer version of Sage 50.

FYI - there are some settings that do not transfer when the new version was installed.  one being allow 3rd party applications and the other was crystal reports/ODBC password
