Canned Reports

I am really new to the BusinessWorks system and I need to know a few things.  There is an aging report under Accounts Payable, I need to know if that can be edited.  I have tried to recreate it manually so that I can add information to it, no such luck.  I need to know where they go the data from.  I need to create another aging report that looks identical with the exception it list the Job Cost Id in it, so that we know where the items that we are being billed for will need to be applied.

    In Sage BusinessWorks, you are unable to edit the Aging reports in both Accounts Payable or Accounts Receivable. If you are looking to customize a report like the Aging report, you would need to use a report writing software - like Crystal Report that allows you to pull information from multiple data source tables at a time. It would be a somewhat complex report to duplicate, because it would reflect transactions over multiple data source tables - for example tables like the AP Invoice, AP Credit Memo, AP Debit Memo, AP checks, etc.... and then totaling those transactions, etc.... Sage BusinessWorks does not create customize reports for customers. Generally, if someone is in need of a report that is not in the system like this I would recommend working with a local reseller who is familiar with report writing and the Sage BusinessWorks tables.
