1. are you getting errors while completing the import process?
2. What method of price model are you using in BW? ( I/C -> Utilities -> I/C Status ( COSTING METHOD )
3. Are you using Productlines?
4. Where is it not showing up? IC Maintain Parts ? Purchase Orders? Quotes? S.O. ?

I use a freeware editing program call CSVed csved.sjfrancke.nl/index.html This editor looks like excel but is all text editing

Are you importing cost on a new company or an existing company? The On Hand Quantity and Unit Cost can be imported only if IC is in SETUP mode, the current On Hand Quantity is zero, and there have been no transactions for the part.

1. No errors. In fact all other data in the CVS file is populating except for Unit Cost.

What is the benefit you get from using the CSVed software? How is that different from a Save As from Excel?

It's an existing company. I have tried to Update Cost from SETUP mode and it didn't take my Unit Cost Data. There have been no transactions on these parts yet. Though, there needs to be.

Since this part has no history, see if you can go into Maintain Parts and delete it. Delete the part and try importing again as a new part. If the delete button is not available, then it would appear that the system is seeing some time of history transactions associated it and will not allow you to import unit cost. You can manually enter the quantity and cost by doing an Inventory transaction like IC, Transactions, Receipts. Otherwise, I would suggest opening a case with support and they can work with you to review your import file and review the current set up of the part. Support can be reached by calling 800-447-5700.
