Number of Decimal Places in Weight field

Question

I saw one other question on this topic, but without a suitable answer for my prospective client. Is anyone aware of a modification that would allow more decimals in the weight field in Maintain Parts?

Currently, the system only allows amounts from 0 to 9999.99. There is an enhancement request to allow additional amounts #87308 Enhancement: Increase the number of digits allow in the shipping weight. We recommend if you would like to see this feature (or any feature) considered for a future release please send your request to bwenhance@sage.com . Those requests are reviewed regularly.
