Technically, for the end of the year for 2017, the current versions we support is V2017 sp 3 and V2018 with no service pack.

The most current version of V2015 would be V2015 sp 11. We did not do any testing running in any version of V2015 for 1099s for the 2017 year. 

In theory, you should be ok for 1099 processing because the 1099 form will still be updated in Enhance Tax Reporting by Aatrix. You will still be allowed to verify your numbers on the grid and make any necessary changes to the amounts.

But if you do run into issues, you may need to upgrade to the current version and rerun 1099s in the current version to do any troubleshooting.
