Temporary price increase BusinessWorks 2018

Question

We the current situation our vendors are sending use notices of temporary price increases. Is there a way that I can add a flat % to a quote, similar to the freight charge? Also, is there a way to add an option for an additional line for adding a % for payments made by credit cards?

 There is no option to add a flat % to a quote, sales order, or invoice. Nor is there an option to add an additional line for payments made by credit card 
 On the summary page, you can add an amount to Miscellaneous charges, but I don&rsquo;t think that would be the best option if you are using inventory. If you want the prices to reflect again the part to track margins for cost/price for a part, then you need to reflect the prices on the individual line item for the part ID. 
 However, some may use Miscellaneous charges to add fees, like for credit card payments. There is no option to add an additional line for payments made by credit cards.

 I have included articles below that relate to change the Vendor last cost, as well and instructions for updating a part&rsquo;s price. 
 The default cost that displays on a new purchase order receipt is using the Vendor Last Cost in Maintain Parts. There is no option to automatically update a Vendor's Last cost. The Last Cost is automatically updated when a receipt or a purchase order receipt is posted. To manually update the vendor&rsquo;s Last Cost go to IC, Parts, Maintain Parts and select the part. Select Vendor . In the Last Cost field, enter the new cost.
