Aatrix and new forms

Are you saying we can no longer use Aatrix  to e-file forms that previously required the red IRS copy? I am required to efile these forms and the only method I have for doing that is through Aatrix. Will Aatrix no longer e-file these and mail the copies to the recipients? Or is will this option still be available?

Aatrix will still have the option to e-file the forms .  This only applies to those that need to print the Federal 1099 and 1096 forms.  It used to be required that you print on the red IRS copy.  Now those copies can be printed to plain paper.

E-file option for W-2 and W-3 also sill exists, correct? This is for a client of mine to use this but it appears that for my one person CPA practice I'll be able to print the W-2 and W-3 myself on plain paper and then mail them in. I am not required to use e-file for my own practice. My client is required to use e-file due to the number of filings. For my own practice this will now work like the 941 and 940 forms which could be printed on plain paper and mailed in, correct? Thanks for clarifying.

All the e-file options still exist.  The only change is that instead of printing 1099s and 1096s on the preprinted red forms they will now print on plain paper.
