$XXXXX.XX cost price in purchase order entry

I have a purchase order 1 part .. with a $10,000 plus cost .. It accepted up to 1000 only .. 4 digits left of the decimal ..


Is there a setting that can be changed in order to be able to put 1 part for $10,000.00 (and change) in  .. I haven't been able to find anywhere that can be reset .. It IS a nonstock item .. (because heaven forbid we will never stock this item) ...


Is the only way to enter that large of a cost price is to put it in as a stock item ?? (such a waste of space for a one time event ??? )

    In Inventory Control / Utilties / Maintain IC parameters you probably have the check box set to allow fractional cost for non-stock items and you have the decimal places for costs set to 4.  This will only allow a cost of 9,999.9999.   If you deselect the allow fractional cost for non-stock items it should allow you to enter 999,999.99 as the largest cost.
