ODBC customer ID

SOLVED

I am making an ODBC connection from UPS WorldShip to BusinessWorks 2013. I am able to map most of the WorldShip values to BusinessWorks values in the ARInvoice table. I want to link the BW customer ID or number to UPS.

1. Does one of the values in the ARInvoice table map to the BW Customer ID? If so, which one? None looked obvious to us.

2. If not, within WorldShip we can create a link between two foreign tables (Businessworks database tables) and then grab the customer ID from a different BW table. If #1 is a no, what fields would we need to link here?

    Those directions read:

    Resolution
    Go to Sage Businessworks Homepage
    Select Sage BusinessWorks News
    Expand Features sheets
The sixth item down is the File Formats

Problem is, I'm not seeing a "New" on the homepage. I think this KB needs updated as file is now under Resources. I was also hoping that the file would contain a relational database map, which it does not.

    SUGGESTED
Heather- I am sorry you are having issues access the File Formats document. You can access the File Formats by going to resolution #19339 I mentioned above and opening the .pdf attachement. In that article, if you scroll all the way to the bottom, there is an ATTACHMENTS section. In there is a .pdf file you can open for the file formats (BWGFormats.pdf). The steps in the article show how to get to the file formats within the Sage BusinessWorks program. I tested those steps and they are working successfully for me. To verify you were at the correct Sage Businessworks Home page, in BusinessWorks go to View and make sure "Viewer" is selected. If selected that will dispay the Sage Businessworks Home page in the center of your Sage BusinessWorks screen. You should see "Welcome" , "All About Sage BusinessWorks", etc... Under the All About Sage BusinessWorks, you should see "What's New?", "Community" and then "Sage BusinessWorks News". If you select "Sage BusinessWorks News", that will open you to a Resources screen. In there you will see an optionfor "Features sheets". Hit the plus sign (+) to expand it. Once expended, the 6ths item down is "File Formats". That will open the File Formats document. Note: If you are not on a current version (v2017), your links may not be pointing to the correct location. Let me know if you are still unable to open the File Formats.
    Thanks,
