Changing number format on the AR Statements

Is there a way to change the number format on the Accounts Receivable Statements?  For instance, the total amount on the statement is 35697.16. How can I change it to have a comma to read as 35,697.16?  I don't care if it doesn't have a dollar sign.

    Unfortunately, there is no option to add commas or dollar signs to customer Statements in Sage BusinessWorks. Although this does not help you for statements, there is a feature to add them to AR Invoices, OE Invoices and OE Sales Orders. If you are interested in that, please see KnowledgeBase article #35629 "Commas and dollar signs do not print on forms".
