Sage 100 Contractor: Software Notice 16-B

1 minute read time.

Software notice 16-B for Sage 100 Contractor was sent on January 28, 2016 and informs customers of a display issue in the 4-7-5 Reconcile Credit Card Statements window.

Issue:

We have identified an issue in the January 2016 update that affects the display of charges in the 4-7-5 Reconcile Credit Card Statements window. After upgrading to version 19.7.43, some credit card charges may be combined into one line item in the 4-7-5 Reconcile Credit Card Statements window.

Note that this issue is limited to the display in the 4-7-5 Reconcile Credit Card Statements window. The underlying transactions are not affected.

While we work on a fix for this issue:

  • If you have already installed the January 2016 tax and software update, you can continue using Sage 100 Contractor version 19.7.43 as usual, with the exception of 4-7-5 Reconcile Credit Card Statements.
    • If you need to pay credit cards before the fix is available, follow the workaround described in KB 72743.
  • If you have not installed the update, you are not affected by this issue. If you plan to install the January 2016 update and perform credit card reconciliations, consider waiting until a fix is available for this issue (anticipated within the next couple of weeks), and then install the newer update.

We will notify you once we have corrected the issue and released a software update.
