| Version 20.3 and earlier releases of Sage 100 Contractor 2016 (SQL) prevent installation on a domain controller. Based on customer and business partner feedback, we are removing this restriction for future releases of Sage 100 Contractor (SQL), starting with version 20.4 (the year-end release). |
| Important! Despite removing this restriction, Sage strongly recommends following industry best practices by installing Sage 100 Contractor (and Microsoft SQL Server) on a computer that you are not using as a domain controller. |
