Sage Paperless Construction: Announcing a new way to reach support

What's new
Live Chat resources are now available for Sage Paperless Construction. After you apply the update, you can access Live Chat from within Sage Paperless Construction. Select Help > Support, select the link for Sage 100 Contractor or Sage 300 Construction and Real Estate, and then use Live Chat to schedule an appointment with a support analyst at a time that is convenient for you.
Download and install this version
  1. Have all users exit Sage Paperless Construction.
  2. At the Sage Paperless Construction server, launch SPC Server Dashboard (Start > All Programs > Sage Paperless Construction).
  3. Select the App Service tab and click Stop.
  4. Select the Job Poll Service tab and click Stop (if applicable).
  5. Select the Deployment tab.
  6. Click the Live Update tab in the middle of the window to display the Configure and Deploy buttons below the tab. The available version number will appear as 5.20.10.
  7. Click Deploy.
    The software will download the latest version from the Sage Paperless Construction server. This may take several minutes.
  8. When the download is complete, a SQL Administration Login window will appear.
    1. Either enter the Sage Paperless Construction SQL Admin username and password OR check the box next to Use Windows Authentication.
    2. Click OK.
  9. A window will appear asking if you would like to back up the database before applying the update.
    1. Click Yes.
    2. If prompted, enter the path where the backup is to be saved and click OK.
  10. When the update is complete, a window appears confirming the deployment applied successfully. It will also remind you to restart the App and Job Poll Services. Click OK.
  11. Select the App Service tab and click Start.
  12. Select the Job Poll Service tab and click Start (if applicable).
  13. Click Close at the bottom of the window.
The client install(s) will automatically update at the next launch.
