Issue: Sage 100 Contractor may generate T5018s for vendors who previously were designated to not receive a form.

Note: This issue applies to you only if you use the Canadian Edition of Sage 100 Contractor version 22.4.27 or 22.4.34.

As stated in Sage Knowledgebase article ID 109326, versions 22.4.27 and 22.4.34 included changes to the 4-4 Vendor 1099 types for the U.S. Edition, specifically changing from type 3 to type 1. This change inadvertently also changed the T5018 type in the Canadian Edition, changing from type 3 - Do not report, to type 1 - Individual, which could cause some vendors who were previously designated not to receive a T5018 to now be designated to receive one.

Sage is developing a fix for this issue, which we will announce on Sage City and by in-product message when it is available.
