Delete Custom Form Design

SUGGESTED

I have created a few form designs that we no longer use. They are confusing our staff, so I would like to delete them.  Is there an easy way to do this?  I tried to delete one off of the server, but it still shows up.  Thank you.

I understand it can be confusing now.
Basically if the forms are always saved as shared then they will be on your server drive under
Mb7\report forms. Version 19 and before.
If you find it, create a subfolders called old and move it there.

If someone saves a form privately it is a location that is about 9 layers deep under the users name on their local machine. By default the path is hidden and you have to change your windows display settings.

If your in the cloud it is much more difficult because you may not have access to that folder.

There is a in article in the knowledge base of the customer portal that explains the location paths.
Otherwise tech support can help you find the ones you want to delete.

I'm using 20.3.59 I can locate the folders and I deleted the form from the folder but it's still showing up in the drop down menu. It's not showing all of our saved reports in that folder, so I'm not sure where they are. I guess I can give SAGE a call and have them find them. Thanks for the suggestion.

OK, well the reports and forms are in a different location for version 20.
If you have an IT person they should be the one doing this.
And just as before I recommend you back up the files before deleting them.

I actually found a KB article for you #50100:

How to delete custom reports or forms in Sage 100 Contractor version 19 and later or how to add a report consultant gave me?

    Products
    Sage 100 Contractor

    Description
I have created some custom reports/forms that I don't use any more - how can I delete them?
    Where are custom report stored?
How to add a customized report my consultant gave me, so everyone can use it?

    Resolution
If the report is private (can only be seen on your local machine)

Take note of the menu options in the program where the custom report is accessed from. For example if your custom report is located in Receivable aging (menu options 3-1-3) and is numbered 01, the file name of that report in the designated folders would be 03010301, where the first 6 digits denote the menu tree path to get to the report and the final two digits denote the report number.
    Click Start, Computer.
In the file path bar at the top of the window type %localappdata%
Select Sage, Sage 100 Contractor, Custom Reports or Report Forms.

Warning: Deletion is permanent, it is recommended to back up the Custom Reports folder to a different location before proceeding.

Locate the report files you want to delete based on the file structure denoted for the report in question in step 1.
Once the reports have been located right click, Delete.
Also delete the custom reports from the following locations.
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Sage\Sage 100 Contractor\System Reports (Report Forms) AND
    C:\MB7\System Reports (Report Forms)

If the report is shared (can be seen by all machines in the office)

Take note of the menu options in the program where the custom report is accessed from. For example if your custom report is located in Receivable aging (menu options 3-1-3) and is numbered 01, the file name of that report in the designated folders would be 03010301, where the first 6 digits denote the menu tree path to get to the report and the final two digits denote the report number.
Navigate to Shared data drive\MB7\System Reports or Report Forms.
Locate the report files you want to delete.
Warning: Deletion is permanent, it is recommended to back up the Custom Reports/Report Forms folder to a different location before proceeding
Right click the report file and click Delete.
Navigate to Shared data drive\MB7\Custom Reports and also delete the same report if present in this location.
If adding a report given to you (find out if you have one there already with the same name--see NOTE below):

Right click on your report emailed to you, selecting Save As
Navigate/Browse to Shared data drive\MB7\Custom Reports then save in here.
NOTE: Be sure to check if there is already one in there with the same file name, if so - single click in the file name area before clicking Save and add a letter before the "." For example 0501020.rpf is there so make sure the one you are saving says 0501020a.rpf This prevents you from overriding your existing file with that same name.
