Report Writer Help

Question

This is a report that is lock but i need to modify it. somebody can help me understand how to set it the report? i dont know how to use the group 1/2/3 detail... so the report comes out like the pic. 6-7-4-21-Subcontract Audit -2017-3-9 16 42 28.pdf

Typically, a report is locked by Sage if it (1) is an accounting report where the layout is GAAP approved (like the Balance Sheet) or (2) where there is custom programming to help the report go faster/report information that is more difficult to get to through the standard report writer. You can generally know a report is going to be locked if it has the check box, or option buttons on the report printing screen. 
 
This report that your asking for has multiple detail boxes (it's giving you the detail for Invoices and Change orders), which is why the report is locked. 
 
I would recommend using a third party reporting tool (liberty reports or business intelligence). To get the information you are looking for. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions about creating a report like this in one of those methods, or if you want more information.
