Aloha Ric - Have you checked out the General Journal 2-5-21 report?  This can be run for all sources, or selective sources.  I just checked the info that comes in from A/P source and it does include the vendor name.

Thanks Kathy, that is very useful!  Any idea how to drop that report into excel so that each record has it's own row?  I have long lists of GL content that need to be sorted.  Too bad it wasn't a query.

Aloha Ric - There are so many ways to slice/dice this report based on the printing criteria that you enter.  You can always print it to excel in the printing screen and then sort from there (for instance, I just sent sample data to excel and then sorted on the vendor column).

When I output it to excel, each record is 2 rows, so sorting isn't possible without major parsing.  I agree that the data is all there, though, which is most important.  To bad "modify report" isn't an option, just so I could re-arrange the existing fields into something that might not print well on paper, but would export nicely to excel.

How can I edit a custom report and add columns as in enter a PO # into vendor inquiry report, to see all invoices that were invoiced and see what PO goes along with it. 

Hi Thalita. Have you looked at the 6-6-3-51 report? This lists the POs and the invoices associated with them. You can enter in the record# of a specific PO in the Record# criteria.

That depends on the custom report and how its laid out.  But you definately could add the PO# or Subk# as a separate column to an AP invoice list to make it custom. And include a filter so that it only pulls invoices with a PO #  (not equal to zero) or for a specific PO#.  But if you have the PO#, then open it and click on the invoices button at the bottom to see the associated invoices.
