Sage 100 Contractor is a different product than Sage 100 ERP, isn't it? This forum is for Sage 100 ERP (or whatever they call the 'non-contractor' product these days). Maybe someone else knows where that forum is.
Moving this post to the Sage 100 Contractor forum in the Sage Construction and Real Estate Support Group.

Hey Bud -
One of the most common errors with Sage; Not sure why they don't fix it. Check out the standard knowledge base fixes, but if that doesn't help let me show you what has fixed it on other workstations here...
Good luck! I always do the first one now - create a new local profile, fixes it 95% of the time. I think Sage should fix whatever so we don't have to do this.
Cheers,
Russo
Having trouble seeing the error, but if its a new user then you need to create them with the Database Administrator, or have the user that has company admin rights create them as a user in 7-2-2 with their appropriate groups. You have to be authorized as a user to open and access Sage.
Yes, Char.... this is after the user is created in Sage, in the appropriate group & rights, etc. When the user is trying then to login on a specific machine. You can use their credentials and login fine on a known machine. The issue is very specific to the computer/workstation; not the actual username. It's one of the most common Sage errors and hopefully something that will be fixed in the future.
