You probably need to verify the registration info is current, perform an update for the Aatrix forms, or your IT company needs to resolve your access/ability to the Aatrix folders or update the forms.  This information is in the Sage Knowledgebase of your customer portal which you will want to register for so that you can look these things up conveniently yourself.

    Resolution

      For Version 20.X and higher:

      1. Using the Windows File Explorer, open C:\Program Files (x86)\Aatrix Software\Aatrix Forms\
      2. Right click on the SMB folder and choose Properties. You should have at least 1300 files. If you see that many files, go immediately to step 3. If you see fewer files, continue with these steps:
        • Close 100 Contractor
        • Rename the SMB folder within Aatrix Forms to "Old SMB"
        • Reinstall 100 Contractor and reopen it. If your software is hosted or remote, ask your IT department to assist.
        • Open 5-4-1 Federal Forms. Note that your forms will show 2015 or 2016.
        • When Aatrix prompts you, click to update.
      3. Ensure you are logged into the computer as a Local Computer Administrator.
      4. Temporarily disable User Account Control:
        • In the lower left-hand corner of Windows 10, choose Start
        • Select the gear symbol for Settings.
          • Note: In some versions of Windows you may need to choose Control Panel and search for "User account control".
        • Open Change User Account Control Settings.
        • Move the slider to Never Notify.
        • Press OK to save the change and close the window.
        • If you changed the slider, restart your computer so the change will take effect.
      5. Temporarily disable any antivirus software.
      6. Open https://aatrix.com/sage100contractor/updates and click Download Update.
        • Your browser will begin downloading a file, or give you an option to “Run” or “Save.” Do not choose “Run” as it will not resolve this issue.
Note: If the Aatrix window is named Install Shield Wizard, it will still update only Aatrix.
      7. Open Sage 100 Contractor by right-clicking on its icon and selecting Run as Administrator.
Note: This is necessary only the first time after the update.
      8. Open 5-4-1 Federal Forms. Choose Options - Update Forms and follow the prompts.
      9. When you are finished, re-enable your antivirus software and return to the User Account Control setting that your computer previously had.

      For versions 19 and lower:

      1. Using the Windows File Explorer, open C:\Program Files (x86)\Aatrix Software\Aatrix Forms\SMB\
      2. Sort this folder by Name and look for files called Updater and Updater2.
      3. If you do not see these files, rename the SMB directly to OldSMB.
      4. Reinstall 100 Contractor using the same version that is currently on your computer.
Note: You only need to reinstall on computers used for payroll. Re-installing does not affect your data. If your software is hosted or remote, ask your IT department to assist.
      5. Open 5-4-1 Federal Forms. Note that your forms will show 2015 or 2016.
      6. When Aatrix prompts you, click to update.
