Unable to authorize new license server

I'm trying to setup a new Database and License server for our Sage 100 Contractor, I need to test the new server to make sure we can use it on our network but I'm stomped.

I Deauthorized the old License server (showed 2 seats) and stopped the Sage Hosting service.

Then on the new server, I'm trying to Update License Information and all I get is "No License uses were available".

What is missing? I am able to authorize the old one just fine. I have firewalls all the way turned off only for testing, I have restarted server as well as services.

I tried the Multi-Server licensing option, released 1 seat but nope.

Anyone able to help?

Nope, no solution or answer. I am not sure what to do but am looking at another route to take since it is not working.

Hi OldSwede. It's possible your licenses are "stuck" on another entitlement server. I would advise contacting Support as they can unlock those for you. The other possible cause (less common) is that you have Canadian licenses but a US edition installed, or vice-versa.

We have the US version and US license. I don't think it is stuck since I am able to authorize it on another server, I can release one or both seats and grab them on that server but not on the new server I'm setting up. I'll see if Support can help, thank you.
