If you did not upgrade companies yet, uninstall Sage only on the server.  Reboot, then reinstall version of 24.3.47

If you already upgraded the companies then you'll need to restore any backups prior to the upgrade

Make sure you know your Sage ID and name for the license administrator before uninstalling

Correct, they will remain in tact on server.  Your SQL will also remain, you are only uninstalling the software.

That's correct. Since you are unable to open Database Adminstration, you cannot upgrade your data so it has not been touched. You can just uninstall 25 and reinstall your previous version with no effect to your data. The downside is you will be unable to update your software until you update your O/S.

When I uninstalled v25 and tried to reinstall v24, i'm now getting a 1605 error.

Try the suggested solutions in this KB article. Of the suggestions, removing the Temp files and deleting the InstallShield registry keys are most common. If this does not resolve, then contact Sage Support.

Thank you.  I worked with Sage Support this morning and they removed the registry keys.  The issue is resolved.
