Multiple Sage companies - Distinct and separate Form Design folder path

SUGGESTED

We work with several companies each with their own logos and form design formats.

Do you know a way to keep track of them so each company (when printing) is directed to the correct logo/form design?

Thanks!

You need a separate \MB7\ folder for each company, as well as the subfolders at each level. Then you create a mapped drive for each company and its respective \MB7\ directory, and you should be good to go.

Thanks smenard. How to I keep track of which MB7 folder is which company since I don't think the folder will show up if we rename them per below:

    MB7-CompanyA
    MB7-CompnayB

    Any ideas?

    Create a folder called
    \sage co a
In the folder create an mb7 folder
In that mb$ folder put the company s database folder and a custom reports folder and s report forms folder
Map it as the s drive
When you open sage point to drive s
You will only see company a
    Create another folder called
\sage company create a subfolders called
    \mb7
Create a company data folder and custom reports and report forms
    Map as drive t
When you open sage point to drive t
You will only see company b

As Char mentions, you would want to create a 'label' folder directly above the MB7 folder for each company. For example, if you used a format something like this, \CompanyA\MB7\CompanyA_database\, CompanyA would be the name of the company, under it would be its respective MB7 folder, and within the MB7 folder you'll find the actual Sage company file and data.

Also, once you map a drive for each MB7 folder, you can rename the mapped drives to make them more familiar and friendly, if that helps the cause of tracking the different companies.
