Somehow our Current.prt file was deleted and a new one was created when we processed a payroll on January 10, 2018.  Now the Current.prt file contains only the data from that payroll.  We use the File Tools>Copy function to back up our transaction and master files each week.  The previous files are simply overwritten each week.  The procedure was done on January 12, 2108, before we discovered the Current.prt file did not have all the transactions we need.  So my backup file created using the File Tools utility is useless.

We have a Seagate utility backing up all our server files every night to an external drive.  I cannot seem to restore the files from a backup done before January 10, even though the utility say the files were successfully restored.

is it possible to restore my Current.prt file from a Seagate backup utility?
