Timberscan vs Sage Paperless Construction

We are currently looking at at adding a Paperless Solution to our Sage 300 CRE application. 


We have had a demo of both Sage Paperless Construction (Paperless Environments) and Timberscan (Core Associates). It looks like both would meet our requirements. I would like to get some feedback from others in the Community, that have used one or both of the applications.


What are your challenges with Timberscan? 

What are your challenges with Sage Paperless?

Has anyone used both? 

What do you recommend using and why?

The fact that Core Associates is a development partner with Sage and Sage having a product that now competes with that, has been going on for years. Does anyone see that as a problem?

    We installed our Paperless in November 2018.  Make sure that you have sufficient disk space on your server when installing this. (16 gb)   If you have multiple companies, make sure you buy extra vaults.  Each company needs its own vault to post the AP.  

    We haven't migrated over the old documents from DM.  We are planning to use a standalone PC for that and just migrate only a few old documents.

    If you are coming from Document Management, you will find that in Paperless there are less steps to complete the process of archiving and approving the AP invoice.

    You can index documents that are not tied to Sage.  (like Payroll documents such as Form 941, 940, W2, etc)
