Unit List Report (PM-Reports-Lists-Unit List) does not show the correct Sq.Ft.

SUGGESTED

Units were updated but report doesn't show latest sq.ft. It shows the last square footage when it was occupied.

The report uses a formula for the square footage. It's looking for the square footage amount as of the Report Date for the Total square footage type.

When you updated the units, what square footage type did you use and what As of Date?

Are you changing the Report Date when running the report or leaving it as the default (system date)?

    Hi April,

Thanks for your response. I am using rentable and I made a bunch of changes to the units in a bldg as of 2/1/2019. I am running the report as default (today).I figured the new square footages would show up. The only correct unit is the only occupied one.

If you have the Report Designer (RD) application, you can open the design to change the formula to use the Rentable square footage type instead of Total. The design formula name is DTL-Effective Unit SF. You would need to change "Total" to "Rentable" in the formula.

Thanks again. I do have RD and I opened the report but after that I'm stuck!

The person who trained me left before showing me how to do this! :(

    1. In the design, from the Tools menu, select Formulas.
    2. Find the DTL-Effective Unit SF formula.
    3. Select it and click Change.
    4. Change the text "Total" to "Rentable".
    5. Click OK.
    6. Click Close.
    7. Save the report. Note: You may want to save the report as a different name so that when you upgrade or reinstall it won't replace it with the default report and you lose your changes. If you save it as a different name, you'll need to add this report to your Property Management Report menu or change the existing report menu item to use this modified report. Sage Knowledgebase article 17087 explains how to add a report to your report menu.
