I normally have to print Nov-Dec then Jan. This is my easy way to get around this. Our year ends close Sept so I am always having to pull two reports due to this. Hope this helps.

There is an Account Ledger with Detail report under Excel-Based Reporting - Office Connector on your Sage Desktop. This report is not date range restricted, however the totals only print for the ending date, not for each month.

I move my General Ledger transactions to the History file after the month is closed; then you can use the the Year-to-date for all months that are in the history file, or you can inquire any specific account and push the data to excel.  But the key is to have your transactions in the same file, then you don't have to be going back and forth between the current and history files where the transactions are housed.
