When MyAssistant stops sending I have usually had luck restarting the ISD services as shown in this article.  A server restart will also accomplish this.

The server restart did not appear to work, but restarting the ISD services was the ticket!

FYI - make sure your services have a Domain Admin account assigned.  If not the services my not restart even after server re-boot

Bill is right on the money here, as usual. I've had a somewhat heated discussion with Dennis about this requirement, which is TERRIBLE from a system security standpoint. If My Assistant didn't save us so much money........

Couldn't agree with both of you more.... and I've also had heated discussions with Dennis. Funny how that's a theme with him. We run a script on our server to restart both ISD services each day at 2am.
