Property Management Tenant Insurance Expirations Report

SOLVED

I need a report that lists ALL tenants in my commercial office buildings that shows each tenant's insurance certificate expiration dates.  The "canned" report provided with Sage 300 CRE will only show those tenants whose insurance will be expiring in the range given for the report.  However, we have tenants that have NEVER submitted COIs and I need to see which tenants are not only expiring, but which tenants have not provide COIs.  Is there a downloadable report somewhere that can list every tenant along with insurance expirations (or lack thereof)?  Thank you!

    Hi Karen,

On the default Tenant Insurance Expiration report, if you delete the existing conditions (Expiration Date GE From Date AND Expiration Date LE To Date), then it will return all insurance records regardless if there is an expiration date entered or not. You will still need to enter a date range in the prompt fields since they are marked required, but the dates will be ignored since the conditions are removed.

Any tenants who are missing from the report do not have any insurance information entered.

As a side note, you may want to consider adding a condition for Current leases only, otherwise it will include all leases including terminated, historical, and cancelled. Sage Knowledgebase article 44787 "Why is the Tenant Insurance Expiration report including old leases in Property Management?" explains how to add this condition.

If this report still does not suit your needs, you can reach out to your Sage 300 CRE Consultant or Sage Professional Services Group ([email protected]) to have a custom report created.

    I hope this helps!

April - is there a way to change one of the "types" of insurance to read Work Comp?  The system lists ALL the other types of insurance but doesn't have a Work Comp category showing.  We require all our commercial office tenants to carry both General Liability & Work Comp, so having that shown on the report would be really nice!
