We have two databases for payroll. We have an employee who will be switching jobs and therefore needs to be moved from one database to the other. Is there a way to merge his records at year-end so that he still only gets one W-2, or will we need to provide him two W-2's, one from each database? We already merge data for combined filing, but I've never had the same employee in both databases before, so wasn't sure how Sage/Aatrix treats that.
Any other considerations, that I should be concerned with, while we're at it?
