Lien Waivers

SUGGESTED

Since I have been at my company we have not done lien waivers through Sage.  They used to do lien waivers through Sage but apparently "there was an update that changed it so they don't work anymore".  Do you know what has changed and where I would find the info to redo our lien waivers so they work?  Thank you, Sally

Sally, what state are you located in? I'm curious if your company was using  Crystal Report designed lien waivers previously, and which software version caused them to stop working? I have a California client that has experienced the same issue recently and haven't had time to delve into it yet.

I'm in Massachusetts.  No we do not use Crystal Report design so it looks like we may have a different issue.  The 'update' that the controller said changed the lien waivers was more than 4 years ago.  None of the current lien waivers work.  I can modify them but I have to understand what changed so I know what data bases to pull from.

The one that comes up when you are paying bills is still incorrect, doesn't pull the right data.  We shouldn't have to pay for outside support to fix this when an update renders a standard report useless.

    Hi SallyBBB,

It sounds like you are referring to the Subcontractor Compliance Management feature that was added in version 12.1.

Part of the change was the transition from Report Designer based lien waivers to Crystal Report lien waivers.

Sage provided new Crystal versions of our lien waiver reports and forms.

You can learn how the system works here:

    AP_Compliance_Supplement.book (sage.com)

After this is set up, you should be able to print your forms.

    Thanks!

    Hi Jesse,

Very delayed response on my part.  It seems that I would need Crystal Reports in order to edit those lien waivers or to create one of my own?  We do not have Crystal Reports and up until now it has not been an issue.  I would hate to have to get it for this one report.  Is there a work around?  It would be fantastic to be able to do that again, save soooo much time.

    Best,

    Sally
