I am not sure I understand the question.   When closing the year in General Ledger the program first checks if there are any Prior year adjustments stored on any of the GL Accounts.  Did you get a message indicating Prior year Adjustments were found?

I should not ignore the message that indicated the prior year adjustment were found, I still need to close it again even it's ZERO. learned something new. got my year-end closed
