job cost report for several cost codes without duplication on the second one

How do I select conditions so I can create a job cost report for several cost codes without duplication for the second one (or other errors).

    Sally,

You've posted a mystery to be solved:  You really need to provide an example of the "error (or other errors)"  you reference, and an example of your desired output.  Are you using Report Designer or Crystal Reports? What JC record is driving your report?

I am using Job Costs, Job Cost Detail Report which is a canned report from Report Designer.  When I add conditions for two or more cost codes using 'and' and 'or', any cost code after the first will have all duplicate entries.  If I run the report for them individually they are fine.  If I reverse the order, again, the first one listed is fine the others all have duplicate entries.

Sally, your issue is likely the result of adding  conditions to those already included in the design, and mixing "and" and "or".  You can't mix "and" with "or".  You better solution would be to create a formula for your desired cost codes, using an "or" statement in that formula.  Then add that formula as a condition using "and".

Thank you Art.  I will give that a try.  My old Sage product allowed you to select cost codes for a report.  Crazy that one doesn't come standard in this sage product as it is such a common task for residential construction for allowances.
