Can someone please tell me how to hide all terminated employees from the dropdown employee list (to search for only active employees) when entering paychecks?

Use Set Criteria on the Finder.
Hi Jay! Thank you for your response! Can you please be more specific about how I would set Criteria on the finder?
When I go to enter checks and click F4 to find the next employee, the dropdown list shows me active and termed employees to choose from. Thanks so much for your help!

F4? If this is Sage 300 ERP Payroll, don't you mean F5?
That's where the disconnect is. I'm on Sage 300 CRE.
Hi Linda Hicks ,
Since it looks like you are using Sage 300 CRE, I am going to move this post to that Support Group so that other users of this software will see it and can offer you their thoughts and insight.
Related to your question though, please see the article: How do I prevent a check from processing for a terminated employee?
Thanks,
Erzsi
