Address Book and Accounts Payable Vendors

I just recently started to use the Address Book module. I have noticed that most of my AP vendors, although appear in address book, do not have addresses associated with them. I need to do a mass mailing to all AP and AR vendors. Is there a way to populate the addresses from the AP module to the Address Book or do I have to go into each individual company in Address Book and add the address?

The address that flows from AP to AB is the remittance one. We had Sage professional services help us push that address to the AB street address when we did this initial cleanup using Access. I don’t believe AB records are writable via OCWrite like AP records are.

In Address Book, there are options for 4 addresses - Street (this is the default you see when you are in Address Book and is used in AR & Estimating), Shipping (used in PJ), Remittance (used in AP), and Other Address. If you click the drop-down next to Street, you will see the choices; if you pick Remittance, you will see the address from AP.

JTEBON is correct, the street address in Address Book is not writable via Access or OCWrite. If you wanted to populate all of the Street Addresses with what you have in the Remittance address spot, you would need Sage to help you.
