Does anyone have a report they are willing to share that correctly calculates the workers comp basis by job? Sage only tracks workers comp basis by workers comp state/code. Thanks in advance.

The burden report in payroll has it but you must condition it to the particular job.
The workers comp report can also be condtioned to a job.
According to KB 38093, Sage only calculates WC Basis based on WC state and Code. It's not broken down by job. I've conditioned the reports that exist by job but the basis is not correct when you have an employee charged to multiple states and/or multiple jobs.
The Workers' Comp Detail Report can be conditioned to a job.
This is true. But the workers comp basis on the report may not be correct if your employee is charged to multiple jobs which may be in different states. That's the problem I'm running into.
We have customized the reports for "work comp basis" based on PAY ID 2 and PAY ID 5 are both overtime pay ID's that pay 1.5 times the regular rate. Also our officer's work comp basis is special. So this formula works to replace Sage's work comp basis because ours is based on all hours at the straight time rate. This is what I use in the work comp summary report.
Since you're customizing, I'd add the condition that it's JOB = prompt so it's always there to use easily. You can see why it would be difficult to share a report because it may need to be very specific. There are consultants who could help you with your specific needs.
Hope this helps!
Thank you. That is helpful. Your formula is shorter and more concise than the one I was formulating in my head. So I appreciate it.
