What is the best way to print AP checks? We are using Create-A-Check but it is my understanding this program will not be available after the end of the year.
We don't use a program like Create-A-Check but within the TUG community I'm hearing users are checking out Printboss, Corpay, and Avidxchange.
We use the AP module from Sage works well for us.
Thank you for the information. Do you print directly from the Accounts Payable module?
Thank you that is good to know.
We switched several years back from Create-A-Check to PrintBoss from Wellspring Software for printing checks via a MICR printer. It's been a very good product for us and was cheaper than CAC.
Yes, we print (using Print Checks in AP) directly to pre-printed check forms. But, we only have one bank account and one check stock. If you have multiple bank accounts, it can be harder to do it without a lot of mistakes.
Thank you.
Great information to know. We only have one bank so that will be helpful but we use blank check stock with check on the bottom so I will need to research that.
CAC Create-A-Check will no longer be supported at the end of 2024. Many of our clients moved to PrintBoss (Does the exact same thing, and less expensive). They also have a conversion process, so you done have to re-set up all your accounts. We sell it or you can by direct from Printboss. Same price either. Feel free to reach out [email protected]
I was under the impression ours would end December 31, 2023 since our agreement ended in July 2023 do you know if we are able to print checks through 2024?
