OHIO Quarterly Tax Reporting

Trying to complete my Quarterly reporting for the the 4th Qtr for Ohio.  We have never had employees in Ohio before.  Does anyone know what reports have to be submitted quarterly and at end of year?  Also need to do for the city of Ohio.  I have done my monthly tax withholding reporting but not sure if there is more that needs to be done.

I appreciate any help you can give me.

Establish an account on the Ohio Business Gateway for making local withholding payments.  AAtrix doesn't handle the local monthly and quarterly payments for Ohio, but Aatrix does do a lot of the local year-end filings if the local taxes are linked in Aatrix.   There is an annual reconciliation for all the localities.  RITA (Regional Income Tax Agency) and CCA (Central Collection Agency) are two collection agencies for a bunch of cities that you'll file the year-end reconciliations and make the payments throughout the year and will have to provide copies of the W-2 forms (Aatrix does do all the RITA and CCA localities, just not all the independent localities).  There are also a bunch of independent cities that collect their own taxes that Aatrix may or may not handle, but you can make all the payments and do all annual reconciliations on the OBG if you aren't using Aatrix.  Check the RITA and CCA websites to see which cities they handle.

Ohio has a quarterly and annual reconciliation for State Withholding.  Aatrix does those returns (I think it is a IT-501 return, I don't recall) or you can complete the quarterly filings and monthly payment (if you are a monthly filer) on the Ohio Business Gateway as well.

    Hope this helps
