Trial Balance - Mid-Month Date

I am new to using Sage (less than 2 months) so bear with me!  How do I get a trial balance based on a mid-month date?  For example - a week ending date? Week ending 12/23/23, or  6/15/23?  I know how to get one from a prior period using the roll back, but not a mid-month date.....  (And no, I have absolutely no idea how to create a new report)

Also - while I am here - any web sites or suggestions other than Sage Community where I can look up how to do specific tasks in Sage so I don't have to keep bothering my coworkers?!?! THANKS in advance!!

The trial balance in the system runs based on every transaction in the system for the current month or a prior month if you do a rollback. To get a date-specific Trial Balance, you will need to have a report created for you. We don't run our trial balance using a specific cut-off date so, unfortunately, I can't help you there. I'd suggest your consultant or David Hardy ([email protected]). David may have a report already created that he can quickly customize for your system.

I've been a member of the TUG group (The Users Group for Sage 300 CRE, Sage 100 Contractor, Sage Estimating, and Sage Intacct) since 1999. The website is www.tugweb.com. Membership is by company not user so you pay one fee and everyone in your company can join and use the services. TUG provides a newsletter, monthly webinars, monthly community meetings, and TUG Talk (an online forum similar to Sage Community) that are all included with membership. We also put on a national conference every year with 3 1/2 days of educational/learning content. The next one is June 4-7 at the J.W. Marriott Turnberry near Miami. Registration is live on our website.

I highly recommend joining. There are a lot of resources for new users of the Sage software. And, if you join a committee, you have a ready-made networking group.

    Hi Julieanne,

We have training videos available at www.SageU.com, some are complimentary (depending on your support plan).

    Thanks!
