Edit Reports with full version of Crystal Reports

I already own Crystal Reports.  Is there a way to edit the Crystal Reports from Sage with my existing license and not purchasing the Sage version of Crystal Reports?

Yes, you can use the non-Sage version of Crystal. You have to set up the connection in Crystal yourself instead of having it there already.

Yes, I was aware of that.  What I am trying to do is edit a Sage Crystal report, one of the Aging (CR) reports, and then have it available in Sage 300 for users to run.  I get errors and can not open a Sage Crystal report for editing.

In Windows Explorer, all the reports, Crystal and RD, end in .rpt. Usually, the canned reports have (CR) at the end to indicate its a Crystal report and not a Report Designer report. But, to be sure, you can check in Reports Manager that the report is actually a Crystal report.

If it's a Crystal report, the ODBC connection may be incorrect. I'm not sure without knowing the error message you are getting. Sometimes the reports are not set up to run from Crystal but you should be able to edit it.
