Can you add multiple contract items to a contract or must you add them one by one. Often, I will have schedules of values with 100+ lines and it is very tedious to add lines individually.

According to Help files inside Contracts, there are two types of Contracts: Active Contracts and Standard Contracts
"Standard contracts are used as a basis (or template) for setting up future customer (active) contracts that contain similar or identical information and contract items. When you set up a new contract, use the Standard type only when you are creating a template for future Active contracts. See the following definitions:
Active: This is a customer contract.
Standard: This is a template contract used as a basis for setting up future active contracts."
You can base an Active Contract on a Standard Contract (the template or pattern) which would eliminate some of the tedious work. See: https://us-kb.sage.com/portal/app/portlets/results/viewsolution.jsp?solutionid=222924450019256&page=1&position=5&q=standard%20contracts
